Thought crime is illegal in Finland in fact or in law. Henrik Holappa, a patriot found out the hard way. Free Speech is enshrined in law in some/most/all civilized countries and in the
Henrik Holappa Was Screwed By His Own Government
QUOTE
On 9 March, while riding with journalist John de Nugent in his car on a country road north of Pittsburgh, 23-year old Finnish asylum seeker Henrik Holappa was suddenly arrested, slapped in handcuffs and leg-irons and whisked off to the local county jail. He now faces deportation back to his native Finland, where he could be jailed 4.5 years for expressing his opinions.
By American standards, Holappa has committed absolutely no crimes in Finland. Most Americans would say the same thing about his stay in America. In fact many individuals such as de Nugent and myself would say that he is by nature honorable and patriotic.
Holappa served honorably in both the active and reserve Finnish armed forces from 2001 up until 2007, when he was dishonorably discharged for his political views. He discovered afterwards that he could not even get a job as a security guard. The state security police, SUPO, had put the word out to potential employers.
UNQUOTE
The American government was eager to abuse this asylum seeker's rights while inciting millions of Hispanics to crime. That is the ugly reality of the modern political scene.
