Propaganda, Education and Political Control

Politics is the art of the possible and propaganda is much of what makes it possible. It moulds the ideas of the huddled masses. The media use sex to sell things. That is usually very obvious. It works well too. Then there is Fear. Awful things will happen if you do not use their product. It is also useful in politics. Claims that we need Europe are spurious but give power to politicians. The idea that we need to make war on peasants in Afghanistan to stop them invading is utterly absurd. It gets used none the less. It also makes Islamics in England even more vicious and dangerous. That truth gets hidden, just like the agenda of the perpetrators.

The rulers and their hangers on are manipulated differently. Bribery and blackmail are just two basic techniques.  Of course education is part of it too and very important part. Those fresh young minds are at their most receptive. Here are some sources on the matter.

Doing It With Pictures In Iraq - Remember Fallujah

Looking for pictures of Fallujah after the first attacks, I realized how quickly they would disappear from Google. The subtle censure [ censorship? ] on the web is even clearer when you compare your sources with the International media. I got so pissed I made this toon for the innocent civilians murdered during the war.

That Reichstag Photo Was Manipulated
A Soviet soldier heroically waves the red flag, the hammer and sickle billow above the Reichstag. Yevgeny Khaldei photographed one of the iconic images of the 20th century. But the legendary image was manipulated to conceal the fact that the Soviet soldiers on the roof had been looting.

But leaving that aside, I think this is a great example of how law is now made. Stir up a fuss, lie repeatedly, change the definitions and then do what you wanted to in the first place anyway. Just as they did with passive smoking and pubs............

Well, why don't we change the definition of "consenting adult"? And that is precisely what has happened. First we change the meaning of the word "trafficked". In normal parlance we would think that the proposed law is about sex slavery. This does indeed happen, is barbarous and is already highly illegal....... "As for trafficking, the only official report from the police operation Pentameter 1 shows a tiny proportion, just 0.11 per cent, of people in the sex industry have in fact been trafficked. A subsequent operation, Pentameter 2, found 167 trafficked people, which is still only 0.21 per cent."

So broaden your definition
Ah, right, so not that often then. Hmm, so how are we going to do this then, how are we going to get people to support our desired ban or near ban on the sex trade? Well, why not change the definition of trafficked, boost our numbers and then capitalize on peoples' righteous disgust of sex slavery? My word, that's easy isn't it?

A black was murdered. Englishmen were accused and the main stream media goes into over drive complaining about racism. A malicious prosecution results and fails. Of course when blacks kill people that is different. The main stream media are racist and corrupt.
